Add more cornering performance, bind free suspension travel, better suspension alignment and overall chassis balance to your MINI. The MAXX-G adjustable swaybar endlinks manufactured by M7 Speed feature sealed and permanently lubricated forged steel ball stud & socket ends for easy installation. A military grade aluminum adjuster sleeve with opposing RH & LH threads to make length adjustments a simple task.

MAXX-G REAR SWAY BAR DESCRIPTION

The MAXX-G rear sway bar is made from high strength alloy steel for a lifetime of rough road and high performance service.  The 3 position adjustable rear sway bar allows you to fine tune the driving balance to your particular liking.  Each bar is powder-coated for corrosion protection and comes complete with polyurethane bushings, bushing brackets and 90-degree zerk fittings for easy lubrication. Available in 19mm or 22mm diameter.. Unlike other similar products that are made "offshore" with inferior materials and questionable workmanship all MAXX-G sway bars are Made in the USA from high quality steel and strict quality control standards.

SWAY BAR LINK BALL JOINT DESCRIPITION

The MAXX-G endlinks body has M12-1.25 RH or LH thread with M10-1.25 RH thread straight articulating stud. The body is now forged and reinforced, the stud is manufactured from alloy steel with permanently lithium grease lubricated Teflon inner race and sealed from the elements with a flexible rubber boot. Available in M12 Right Hand or Left hand thread. Select thread type below. Comes self-locking nut, and M12 jam nut.. The hex shaped military grade aluminum body with opposing 12mm (1/2") LH & RH threads allows you to adjust the endlinks with no disassembly and simple hand tools ensuring safe and easy adjustability. These endlinks offer quiet operation and long life as opposed to a typical spherical rod end (heim joint) which will loosen, rattle and fail in a very short period of time.

If you plan on maximizing your experience we recommend larger all terrain tires (28.5" diameter max), heavy duty shocks, larger front and rear anti-roll bars, a MONSTER Strut Tower Brace Kit with tower reinforcement technology and a skid plate to protect your engine and transmission oil pans from damage. All these items are available from M7 Speed.

MAXX-G Rear Sway Bars

MAXX-G Adjustable Sway Bar Links

INSTALLATION:

This installation requires moderate mechanical skills, complete knowledge of strut type suspensions and some specialized tools.

Fits all 2011-2016 R60 Countryman & R61 Paceman Models

MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS: Manual transmissions transfer vibration more than automatic transmissions and may cause a light but noticeable vibration in the steering wheel. This vibration is caused by the CV joints running at a higher angle than original. After a period of time (1000 miles +/-) the CV joints will run-in and seat themselves at the new driveline angles and the vibrations will diminish. Refunds will be not issued for vibration in the steering wheel.

Most cars with a larger than stock rear antiroll bar will require 12mm wheel spacers (not included in kit)

 Proudly MADE in The USA!

Pretty straightforward install. The fronts were a pain to get in but not impossible. Definitely need a good spring compressor that will fit in the small space. Thanks m7

So it is time in the string of upgrades to do a lift kit. So I start looking at my options. I find a few options out there for my countryman because I made A choice to go proven kit and not reinvent the wheel here. So I look at price and find one for under $300 that gives me four metal pices that were welded together and no other parts. Then I find another kit for some more money that is hand welded with longer welds on metal plates for another bolt and go solution.. So I think to myself if I lift my car there are no other things that need to change... Nothing needs to be longer or adjusted? Now I find the kit by M7 that has " suprise" A set of adjustable sway bar ends or maybe while we have it torn appart I might want to stiffin the ability of my car not to tip or sway due to the center of gravity will change. So i get the 20 sway bar instead of the 15 that comes with my car and works when on the ground and not lifted. So then I find that the M7 spacers are not welded ( some welding parts fail under stress) the M7 kits are cast to racing spec not just welded. So I got my kit with full lift and updated support..
The kit does not come with directions printed... They need to be printed from online so print these now when you purchase the kit so you can READ THEM . They are easy and to the point.. but you will be finding yourself calling your dealer for a few questions on your specific model and year. Mainly tork levels on some bolts when you rebuilt with the kit... overall easy ( if you follow directions) and when done you need a complete 4x4 alignment ( suggest you find a place with a new Hunter system).. now tires?? Ya it is not just a kit but now new tires.. Big style truck knobby tires look real cool.. but on a paved road could be LOUD as in 90+ decibels... so in most cases you got what you choose good or bad so " THINK ABOUT QUIET OR COOL LOOKING" now new tire size? 215 60r17 fits great.. But no off road tires come in that size so if you go that way you will go 225/65r17 and they will hit when you turn, when you bounce... just to warn..

Ok I love my lifted mini Countryman, I love the tires I got on the highway.. I think its the best update I did. I have gone over 3 digit speeds and with proper balance/alignment its as smooth as glass on my Premier LTX tires.. only issue is the rubber used on the new sway bar support is top end racing stock. Even with grease I still hear a squeaking at times.. I HOPE AS ALWAYS MY INSIGHTS HELP YOU MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE.. brownbearmini.com
