Now available for Gen 1 MINI Cooper all standard and S engines. This design is a direct replacement for the failure prone stock OEM MINI Cooper (R50) and MINI Cooper S (R53) damper manufactured from 2001 through 2006. (Convertible R52 through 2008). The heart of this unit is the tried and true “damper within a damper” ATI design that has put ATI ahead of the rest. ATI is a leader in the would of high stakes motorsports supplying dampers to every form of motorsport imaginable.
The 2% overdrive unit speeds up the supercharger from stock giving an increase in boost and torque at lower engine RPMs where the MINI needs the help most.
The outer shell is designed to allow proper OEM serpentine belt alignment, and includes laser-etched timing marks on the OD. The unit is a two piece design that allows for easy assembly. M7 Speed supplies the ATI damper with high quality ARP Racing bolt and ground flat washer.

NOTE: ATI’s Super Damper is a “press ï¬t” damper and will be tight to install. It is provided with a keyway slot although factory stock engines do not use a key drive system. This is keyway is provided for high performance engine assembly using custom made race crankshafts.
